NexBok

NexBok is a mobile app for saving things you want to remember. Share a post, a web page or a screenshot to it from any app; it reads what you sent, works out what it is, files it into a collection, and brings it back when it is useful. Useful means near the place, before the date, or when you search for it.

What it is for

People save things constantly — a restaurant a friend posted, a recipe, an event, a product — and then never find them again, because saving means a screenshot in a camera roll or a link in a chat with themselves. NexBok removes the filing. You share; it works out that the post was a restaurant, pulls out the dish and the address, and puts it with the other restaurants. You never fill in a form or choose a folder.

Signing in with Google

NexBok offers Sign in with Google so you do not need another password. Signing in gives the app your name, email address and profile picture from your Google Account, and those are used only to create your account and show which account is signed in.

NexBok requests no permissions beyond that basic profile information. It does not read your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Contacts or Photos, and it does not post anything anywhere. What happens to the things you save is set out in the privacy policy.
