Privacy policy
NexBok stores what you choose to share with it, and uses a small number of services to understand it. It does not sell your data, show you advertising, or carry third-party tracking.
What NexBok stores
- What you share — links, text and screenshots you send to the app, and anything the app works out from them.
- Your account — the email address and display name your sign-in provider (Apple or Google) gives us. Nothing else from that account, and never your password.
Services that see your saves
To turn a share into something useful, parts of it are sent to:
- Anthropic (Claude) — the text and screenshot of a save, to work out what it is. Used to answer that one request; not used to train models.
- Google Places — the name of a place mentioned in a save, to find its location so a reminder can be tied to it. Only the place name is sent, never the rest of the save.
- Cloudflare R2 — where screenshots are stored. The storage is private; the app reaches an image through a link that expires after fifteen minutes.
Everything else — your saves, collections and account — is held on NexBok's own server.
Location
If you turn on reminders near a place, the matching happens on your phone. Your location is not sent to the server and is not stored.
How long it is kept
Saves are kept until you delete them or ask for your account to be removed. Write to yenchiehchen0830@gmail.com and the account and everything in it will be deleted.
Children
NexBok is not intended for anyone under 13, and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what happens to your saves, the change will be described here and the date below updated.
